Fewkes Huff Management is thrilled to announce that it is now representing rising star James Sherrington, who this year will make the exciting step up the motorsport ladder to compete in the prestigious GT4 European Series.
Highly regarded for his exploits behind the wheel, the talented teenager is guaranteed to reap the benefits of working alongside Will Fewkes and former FIA World Touring Car Champion, Rob Huff both on and off the track.
Teaming up with renowned GT squad Mirage Racing to drive a Toyota GR Supra, Sherrington’s graduation to the GT4 European Series grid will see him go wheel-to-wheel against some of the biggest drivers, teams and manufacturers in global sports car racing.
Having enjoyed success in Rotax Karting during his formative years, the British racer’s career really began to start gathering momentum in 2023, when he entered the Junior Saloon Car Championship and duly produced a number of standout drives during his debut campaign.
Establishing himself as a regular contender the following year, Sherrington tallied several podium finishes before closing out the season in style by claiming a sensational maiden win in front of a sellout crowd at Brands Hatch.
That victory provided the springboard for Sherrington to make the step up to the ultra-competitive MINI CHALLENGE Trophy in 2025. There, the youngster secured an outright victory at Donington Park on his way to fifth in the overall standings. He was also the Rookie Cup vice-champion.
Now aligned with Fewkes Huff Management, Sherrington is fully focused on making an impression on the European stage; and he promises to do just that as he races at iconic venues such as Circuit Paul Ricard, Spa-Francorchamps, Zandvoort and Misano.
James Sherrington: “To be aligned with Fewkes Huff Management is without doubt one of the biggest moments of my career to-date. I want to go and compete at the highest level in the sport and believe that both Will and Rob can help me make that dream become a reality.
“The strategic knowledge and expertise that they have shared so far has been invaluable; and to now be embarking on my first year in GT4 European Series is incredible. It is the most competitive GT4 championships in the world, so to say that I’m excited is an understatement.
“I’ve been taking big steps in my career almost every year and this is obviously the biggest of them all so far. That being said I’m confident in my abilities and believe that I can have a strong first season this year.”
Will Fewkes, Fewkes Huff Management Co-Founder: “I’m thrilled to be able to welcome James into the Fewkes Huff Management fold. Both he and his family are fantastic people and I’ve no doubt that this is only the start of a successful partnership.
“Given that James has only been racing in cars for a few years, to see what he has been able to achieve already has been impressive and I’m excited to see – with the right support and development – what the future holds for him.”
Rob Huff, Fewkes Huff Management Co-Founder: “At Fewkes Huff Management we’re obviously talking to drivers all of the time and sometimes there is someone that instantly stands out and we say, it would be amazing to work with that person and develop their career; James is one of them.
“He’s an exciting prospect and has proven that he is fast. He listens, and is still very much developing as an athlete. That is brilliant because it means we can impart our experiences, guidance and ensure that he is the best version of himself behind the wheel.”
