Clinching both the IAME E Plate and Rotax 0 Plate titles in 2024, Lines was also crowned vice-champion in the IAME British Waterswift Championship and Wera Tools British Kart Championship Rotax MiniMax 950 Class showcasing his ability to consistently perform.

Having represented Team UK in the Rotax World Finals, Finlay stepped up to the Junior class to compete in the IAME X30 Euroseries and Wera Tools British Karting Championship in 2025, where he placed inside the top-ten points standings for both series.

Finlay had the honour of being the only UK driver to be selected by Motorsport UK to represent Team GB in the 2025 FIA Karting Academy Trophy Championship, where he emerged as a strong contender.
