GILLES MAGNUS
Regarded by many as a real star of the future...
Gilles Magnus has already enjoyed a meteoric rise up the motorsport ranks and the 26-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down.
In 2023, the Belgian racing driver claimed a top-three finish in the Gold Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe as factory driver for Audi Sport.
Having excelled in single-seaters against some of Formula 1’s hottest names, Magnus originally burst onto German car manufacturer’s radar by immediately building an impressive presence in TCR Europe, WTCR and the FIA World Touring Car Cup.
Switching from the top step of the podium on the world stage in touring cars and into a full-time factory sports car role for 2023, Magnus went on to claim one win, seven podiums and four pole positions in the series.
2024 started in impressive fashion with Magnus claiming victory in the Dubai 24 Hour, Abu Dhabi 12 Hour, before finishing runner-up in the Asian Le Mans Series. This followed with a charge to the GT World Challenge Europe to Gold Cup title and saw him secure a seat in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) with Comtoyou Racing and Aston Martin for 2025.
Leading the Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin DTM project Gilles enjoyed a strong second half of the season and claimed a maiden pole position at Hockenheimring. Alongside his DTM schedule, Gilles remained as a key title contender in the Gold Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe.
