Maro Engel is one of the most accomplished drivers in international GT and endurance racing, with an outstanding record across some of the world’s most prestigious championships and events. The German racer is a Mercedes-AMG factory driver who has established himself as a consistent front-runner in top line GT3 competition, combining experience, versatility and speed at the highest level.

Engel’s career highlights include two FIA GT World Cup titles, four Macau GT Cup wins, two Nürburgring 24 Hours and Rolex 24 At Daytona wins apiece. As well as winning success at the Bathurst 12 Hour, Suzuka 10 Hour, Abu Dhabi 12 Hour and Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta. He is also a multiple championship winner, having secured the 2018 Blancpain Endurance Series title, the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe overall and Sprint Cup titles, and both the GT World Challenge Europe overall drivers’ title and Endurance Cup title in 2026. Adding to this are multiple race wins in the highly competitive Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM), finishing runner-up in 2026, as well as securing two third place championship finishes in the previous three seasons.
